I sometimes feel a slight vibration on my 2002 Mercedes C230K. I want to add some fluid to see if it disappears. What power steering fluid should I use for a 2002 Mercedes C230K?
Answer: You can buy MBz Power Steering Fluid from a MBz dealer or you can use Dexron II ATF Fluid. Check to see what the fluid level is before you add any fluid of any kind. (Do not use brake fluid.) If your Power Steering pump is leaking fluid, you may have to replace worn out or damaged seals and/or hoses first. Do not overfill the P.S. reservoir. Fill to the full line or 5 mm below the reservoir rim. This allows for expansion.
