Dashboard Indicator Light Problems on 1985 Chevrolet Pickup
I have an 1985 Chevrolet Pickup. Dash lights don’t work except by heater control. Fuel gauge works inconsistently. Bright lite ind. comes on with low beam and of with hi beam. The turn signal ind are on. All exterior light work correctly. When I use turn signals, the ones on the dash get dimmer them bright again. Fuses are all good. Truck was sitting 4 two years, but we have corrected all mechanical problems and runs fine. Does anyone know what’ going on here? (more…)

How To Find The Wiring Problem on 1995 Chevrolet Silverado
I own an 1995 Chevrolet Silverado TBI Z71 with a 5.7L engine. The alternator is new and even had it checked at 2 different parts stores. It’s good. Here’s the problem though, it isn’t charging. It’ll show the alternator light (which is a picture of a battery) and when you give it some gas, it goes away. Well, the battery charge on the gauge still goes down and then the truck will die because the battery itself goes dead. (more…)
