I have a problems with my Toyota Tundra exhaust manifolds. Can you please let me know what is involved with replacing the exhaust manifolds on 2000 Toyota Tundra, 4.7L V8?
Answer: The Toyota Tundra manuals all describe that cylinder head removal is required. I have just recently completed a left side manifold replacement on a 4.7 Tundra and there is a way to remove the manifold without removing the cylinder head. It is still quite difficult but can be accomplished in half the time and at a substantial savings over “book time”.
i need a suggestion on getting lock nuts off and the studs out
